Fourteen in a Row!
Well, we clinched it tonight. And instead of the Rockies raining on our last week, we stomped them, but good. We scored a lot of runs, hit some home runs, plunked a batter, got rained on, dried out, and got Eddie Perez an at-bat. All the "13 in a Row!" cups are now obsolete in the face of changed requirements. Fortunately, I brought my Sharpie (permanent market), and applied an emergency patch to at least one cup. I will apply the patch to multiple cups at the game tomorrow.
This is definitely the highlight of an otherwise sucky week. Last regular season home game tomorrow, then it's off to the postseason.
