Year of the Triffids II
And so it was, that my roommates and I (mainly my roommates) planted lots of seeds and small plants;
and the plants became larger, and larger still after being fed wastewater from the fish tanks...the peppers are outrunning the basil, and are downright scary. The horseradish has sprouted and grown 4 inches in 3 days, and last year's sage went and bloomed last month. Some spare green onions from the supermarket have taken root, turned green, and are going bonkers. Even a maple seedling or two are doing ok.
Last year's thyme actually survived and sprouted, and has recovered from pruning quite nicely. Cilantro and oregano have taken over one pot, and a jasmine plant is biding its time in the corner.
Beans were a complete failure, likely due to shortage of quality sun. I've also had a large problem getting sage and thyme clippings to take root; I'm currently 2 for 7 in that department.
So now, it's simply a matter of keeping them watered, occasionally fed, and pruned every once in a while.
