Are you an seven-percenter?
I knew the turnout for the PSC election would be light, but 7 percent? Holy shit. And I'm one of them.
That's scary, even with the relatively useless candidates in the running; that level indicates a lack of caring about the post, which in this case implies capitulation to any utility that wants to rip us off. Here's a pint for you seven-percenters out there; the few and the proud.

Kitchen Notes
I've always been partial to oatmeal (and oatmeal cookies :). As an extension of the Thanksgiving salad expirement, I added some dried berries, cloves, and molasses to oatmeal, and it worked wonderfully. Score one up for hot breakfast.
As it turns out, Sun-dried tomatos and go very well in curried chicken. Just throw them (diced/sliced, if necessary) in after the meat.
And, outside the kitchen, I must note that Five Guys has invaded Atlanta metro, after creeping down the eastern seaboard from D.C. It's the best burger/fries combo, the best "fast-food" burger, and maybe the best overall burger, in Atlanta.
