Oh, well.
With the recent striking down of the "Net Neutrality" strawman, the telcos now have explicit blessing to convert the Internet, and its various services, subnetworks, and sites, into a false market. Simply put, they'd never get away with charging users metered access, so they'll charge the "content providers" metered access, and claim innocence, free markets, or other such bullshit.

As it stands now, there is no reason for anyone to host their website, blog, server, or other online presence, within the United States. On my list of things to do is "move online presence offshore," from my current host. Pair Networks have been more than adequate for my limited needs, I just don't feel like waiting around to be screwed by the impending frog-boiling.
