{conservatives have more free time, because conservatives} "have families because we don't abort our kids, and we have jobs because we believe in capitalism."So, "conservatives" are at a disadvantage online because they have to take care of unaborted children, and are too busy working. I.E., non-"conservatives" have an advantage online, because they make time for themselves by shirking (through abortion) their family obligations, and by avoiding work, like the bunch of commies they are. The underlying truth is that Internet users will eventually have meaningful discussions on their own, and the entire "conservative" movement, as are most propaganda movements, is built on broadcast media -- controlled channels between propagandists and the audiences they seek to influence. Political factions cannot prosper on a level playing field. So, the actual correct answer would be "...because the FCC took so damn long to pass that 'net neutrality' ruling." That's what makes this episode funny, in a perverse sort of way -- a faction's propagandist casts his relative impotence as a product of assumed, non-faction boogeymen. |
