| There are few better ways to detonate a good work session than to casually turn off my laptop's (802.x) radio, only to find that my VPN connection was running over a neighbor's 802 access point instead of my (wired) DSL. VPN takes out the rest of XP's network layer, and I get to save anything stored locally, reboot, and start over. |
