It's July 20th, and my windows are open, soaking up night air in the low 60s. This is certainly abnormal, albeit welcome. I wonder how much last month's Russian volcano eruption is still impacting temperatures around the Northern Hemisphere.
In any event, yesterday's weather was good for a 5+ mile hike through the neighborhoods and parks. Crape Myrtles are in full bloom, and I'm now aware of the sheer number of these plants in the surrounding area. There's at least one for every house, on average. |
