Tournament Report
2003 North American Championship Qualifier
Rockville, MD
June __, 2003
50+ Players
Derek and I made the overnight trip from Atlanta to D.C., during which we learned to never, ever, ever, stop at a rest area at night, no matter how bad you need to go. There will be a gas station, restaurant, or convenient shrub somewhere up the road. After arrival and a brief nap, we caught up with the pre-tourney action. Even after that, I still didn't know what I was going to play. After the Baltimore Purge debacle in Atlanta, I resigned myself to play something a little more tuned. Bring forth the Malkavians! I've played Lunatic Eruption/Haunting, Lunatic Eruption/Bleed, Haunting/Bleed, and Mind of a Child/Rush, but had generally neglected Total Insanity. So I cobbled together a loose Haunting/Total Insanity/Bleed deck the morning before the tournament.
