1965 SHELBY-AMERICAN COBRA Replica: This car is an awesome 1965 Cobra Roadster Replica built from a Factory Five Racing MkII kit. It looks and sounds fantastic. Took 3rd Place AC Cobra Group in the 25th Annual Northwest Mustang Round Up in June 2005 in Bellevue, WA. The Car was completed in May 2005 and has under 400 miles. The Motor is a Ford 302 with approximately 3500 miles since a complete re-build. It has an Edelbrock RPM intake and Ford racing chrome valve covers, Mac equal length ceramic coated headers and chrome side pipes that sound FANTASTIC. Frame is based on four inch dual backbone steel tubes. Transmission is a five speed Borg Warner, with original Cobra style shifter. The hood is pull off, held down with 2 cam lock levers and 2 hood pins. The rear end is a Ford 8.8 inch solid rear end. The front suspension is a dual A-arm setup with pro shock adjustable coil overs.The rear suspension is a Ford Mustang four link. Balanced drive shaft by Driveshafts NW.

The Color is GM cherry red metallic with silver metallic twin stripes, a terrific paint job that turns heads everywhere we go. The Interior and trunk are black and the adjustable Performer series seats have 4 point Simpson harnesses installed. The roll bar, over rider bumpers, side pipes, shifter, break lever, door handles, hood locks, trunk lock, valve covers, oil filter cover and windshield frame are chrome. It has a Moto Lita wood and polished aluminum steering wheel. The dash has a glove box and the classic five and two gauge setup. The rims are new 17 inch polished aluminum Cobra R's, with 255/40R17 Essenza type R tires, 9?s in front and 10's in the rear. Front disk brakes, rear drum.The Car was built to drive, no radio, no heater, no GPS...IT'S ALL ABOUT GO! The Car has been garaged in Bellevue, Washington and never driven in the rain.
